_ dh_installdocs の便利(?)機能
気がつかなかったんだけれど
If a file named debian/package.docs is not found, … it will look for files with names like README, TODO, BUGS, IMPROVEMENTS, COPYRIGHT, AUTHORS, … and install them into the package documentation directory.
package.docs が見つからない場合, upstream の README とか TODO なんかはインストールするよ!
If the package is named package-doc, … it will install into the documentation directory for package. … This behavior can be overridden with the –doc-main-package option.
foo-doc というパッケージは foo のドキュメントだから,
ここにインストールするよ!
これにハマるなど.
gtool5 のパッケージを更新していて, 今回から
- gtool5: metapackage, libgtool5-dev に依存
- libgtool5: shared library
- libgtool5-dev: 開発用
- gtool5-doc: ドキュメント
としたら,
何故か勝手に gtool5-doc に /usr/share/doc/gtool5/README.md.gz が同梱されて,
他のパッケージと衝突する様になってしまい…。
なるほど便利(?)な機能があったんだね, というわけでした.
…便利なのかな, これは…
